Commercial Construction and Remodeling Transformations
We offer a wide range of commercial remodeling and construction services. Here's a few projects we've recently completed.
LaBodega Restaurant at One Nineteen Place in Leawood, KS
We did all major carpentry in this upscale restaurant-lounge. The project included demolition (inside and out), rough in framing, new construction (inside and out), trim, fixture and cabinetry, mill work and finish work.
The exterior walls were opened to allow for 4 new over sized glass overhead doors and transoms. 2 more exterior doors and the revolving door main entrance were also installed.
We built the curved wall at the entry to matched the main bar and added a matching counter bar top that accommodated the host stand next to the revolving door and the new "Sangria Bar". The mosaic tile trademark was used on the base there too.
The new "Sangria Bar" behind the host stand offers inside/outside bar service with another glass over-head door the closes on the bar top. It provides seasonal access outside to the Sangria Bar.
We enlarged and enclosed the previous wine room pictured at the end of the bar above to accommodate the new "Private Dining Room".
We constructed a new server's walk- through and serving station adjacent to the bar and private dining area offering access to both side of the dining areas and bar.
The new servers station at the opening of the new walk-through was constructed with other salvaged materials. .
The south bar dining area below and the adjacent server's station was built to take advantage of every possible dining space and help aid the servers for that area and the enclosed private dining room.
Personal regards are also extended to Todd Sandnes, the General Manager of LaBodega Leawood who was responsible for the implementation and operation of the restaurant, its employees and guests. He was there from the beginning and through the completion of the construction. He's has been and will continue to be principle to the success of LaBodega Leawood.
Our next Commercial Project Below
We sub-contracted the tile installation for the main entrance water feature at Zona Roza's final phase featured below. It was contracted with Tim Spiker, owner of Aquatic Creations.
The picture above is right after tile installation.
Below a night-time look after the bronze centerpiece top was installed. It features a beautiful pulsating and alternating water and light display.
Here's a new winery tasting bar converted, restored and rebuilt to the period of the original build of the early 1900's from an antique we salvaged
The winery is set to open Spring 2014.
We built a prep bar behind the serving bar to match the existing architecture.
